We are a friendly club situated in the village of East Harling offering people of all ages and gender a warm and relaxed atmosphere to play bowls as well as to join in a variety of social occasions. We provide facilities and support to players at all levels, from beginners to the more experienced.
There is a short mat indoor bowls programme in the clubhouse throughout the year and in the summer outdoors bowls are played on the green.
There are a number of competitions played within the club, open to members. All can enter and present a challenge as well as entertainment. For the more competitive bowler there are opportunities to compete in Club competitions and County Leagues.
The smooth running of the club is in the hands of volunteer members who look after general maintenance, bar duties and catering, with an elected Committee to manage the business side of the club.
Saturday evenings are for social bowling, called roll ups, when the game is simply played for fun and is a great time to improve your skills.
On days when no competitions are scheduled the indoor rinks and, in the summer, the green are available for members to practice individually or with other members.
